I've been trying to make it home

Got to make it before too long

I can't take this very much longer

I"m stranded in the sleet and rain

Don't think I'm ever gonna make it home again

The mornin' sun is risin'

It's kissin' the day

Man, it's been a long time since I've updated.  So what's going on...well school's getting ready to start.  I'm moving down Friday morning.  Phase 3, 104 this time around.  I've never met my roommate, but he seems like a nice guy.  Little Shop of Horrors this fall; the only musical I've ever done.  I'm gonna try to be in it if I can find time.  I'd like a lead, but I seriously doubt I'd get it.  Either Seymour or Orin; what do ya'll think?  I'm also rushing Kappa for the last time.  Hope I get in...  All my Kappa buds, you better vote for me!  Haha.  One more day of work, then it's move-in time.  I think that's all for now.

So I did end up working at Gordmans.  It's not the best job, but at least it's something for now.  I'm still looking for something else.  So, believe it or not... You know when I said I pretty much have no shot at being a camp counselor?  Turns out that I now am almost guaranteed to be a counselor.  Strange turn of events, but I'm excited.  Tomorrow is Mother's Day, and I still don't have anything for mom yet.  Hold on, before ya'll start scolding me... she hasn't thought of hardly anything that she wants.  Plus my dad and I already went several places to look for what little we know she wants, only to come up empty.  We'll try again this afternoon.  Our college room at church is now full.  We have 5 couches, 4 chairs, and a love seat.  We also have a futon, but we had no room for it.  So we put it next door for emergencies.  But altogether, I configured our seating capacity to be 27.  I think we'll be in good shape.  Dad and I checked out the gallons upon gallons of donated paint (there's seriously like $1000 worth of paint), and it looks like we won't be able to use most of it.  It's all mostly the same color (light green or tan).  But we did however find paint that'll work as a primary coat for the walls, so it wasn't a total loss.  Well I need to go eat lunch now, so I'll be going now.  Later.

Bonus Points - I must admit I'm a little disappointed to the lack of responses to my last bonus points question.  So if ya'll don't start responding, they'll cease to exist.  Jenn gets a bonus point for being the only one to guess at the last question.  The answer to last post was 16.  TODAY'S QUESTION - How much do I weigh? (as of this post)

Summer break is finally here, and not a moment too soon.  It's nice to have a break from the homework and tests.  This past Sunday was singing night at BA, and I got to lead a few songs.  We're actually starting to get furniture in the college classroom now, and it's now starting to look a little cozy.  We've got plans for painting and decorating the walls too, and that'll probably happen within the next couple weeks.  I'm still waiting on Gordmans to call me, so I'm going to try to call them again tomorrow.  Hopefully we can work something out.  Although, I still want the Braden internship.  I still have a shot at that as well, so wish me luck.  I found out that I also have a very slim shot at being a counselor at camp next month.  I'm not getting my hopes up for that though.  I sang at a funeral this morning for a lady at BA that passed away from breast cancer.  Well I think that's about it for now.  Everyone take care.

Bonus Points - I have 1 remaining great-grandparent, and he is 94.  Today's question - How many years have I lived at my current address?

So I'm finally 21.  Whoop.  I can drink now!!!!....and..I won't.  But it's kinda cool to know that I could.  Only 4 days till I'm home.  I'm really utterly completely insanely ready for it.  Except for not getting to see Jennifer much; that definitely sucks.  I'm going to miss seeing her every day.  I'm about ready to crash.  I am so tired, and I don't have any finals tomorrow!  Sleeping in, here I come.  To every one that I won't see the till August, have a great summer!  Love you all.

Bonus Points - The correct answer to last post - 11th grade, believe it or not.  Today's question - How many great-grandparents do I still have living, and how old are they?

Birthday is now in 2 days.  Jenn's going to take me to Alvarado's - love you, babe!  I shall be home in a week and a half, and I still have a shot at an internship!  So everyone pray for me in that respect.  Tonight was the Chorale party.  It was fun.  We watched the Chorale video and scrapbook and they went well I think.  This week is mostly catching up time in classes.  Should be exciting.  I guess that's all for now.  Later.

Bonus Points - 5 was the correct answer to the last post (In order, Braums, OC Library, Firstitle, Gordmans, Tealridge).  New Question - In what grade did I first wear glasses?
